Forget Canada.
I'm Moving to California.

L.A. Times reports on the California Medical Association's vote this week in which 449 of 450 physician deligates voted to express "emergency outrage" at Bush administration maneuvering on the Schiavo case - an in particular to condemn the legislation he signed allowing Terri Schiavo's parents to request of a Federal court that Ms. Schiavo's feeding tube be reinserted.

I share your view of the Bush administration and its handling of the Schiavo case. I also agree that Teri should be allowed to die. I do, however, find the quip at the end of this entry offensive. A little compassion wouldn't be out of place, imo.

How unfortunate that the good doctors of California didn't bother to ascertain who in fact had made the decision they're defending here. It wasn't a decision made by Michael Schiavo, and it wasn't made by Ms. Schiavo's health care team. It was made by a judge.
How unsurprising though.

yup you are right; tasteless comment deleted. sorry.
