Whether intentionally on Auth's part or not, the text closely parallels the famous epitaph chosen by her parents for Nancy Cruzan after their long fight to discontinue artificial feeding and hydration in her case:
Born July 20, 1957.
Departed Jan. 11, 1983.
At peace Dec. 26, 1990.
