Chinese Kidneys for Japanese Patients
There are no laws in China concerning organ transplantation. China executed 3400 people in 2004. Under Chinese law it is acceptable to use organs from executed prisoners for transplatation if no one is around to object. Recipients of transplantation in China have received bad instruction on immunosuppressants, and several have died far more prematurely post-transplant than would be typical for the procedure.
