Single Payer System: It's Time

John Balint is making waves in New York with a proposal that is, to put it mildly, an unlikely sell to the state's Republican senate: that the uninsured should be covered through radical change in the state's public health care system. Balint endowed chair in medical ethics, funded largely by grateful patients in his 40 year plus practice as a gastroenterologist.
