Calling Ben Stein!

In anticipation of the soon to be released Ben Stein movie protesting the exclusion of intelligent design theory from the public schools of America here is a birthday who's passing ought surely not go unremarked. I look forward to seeing Ben on TV prattling on about the need to make Oct 23rd a public holiday (non-religious of course!).

Here's my attempt at being civil. I hope I succeed.

Frankly, I'd rather not hear anything of Ben Stein's vacuous piffle. These ID'ers and their washed-up celebrity shills and dubious "scientific experts" relentlessly spout their story, which is the intellectual equivalent of flatulence in the wind. However, they still manage to promulgate their hoax with their deft manipulation of the media, assault on municipal governing bodies, and infiltration of school boards. Their mythology, albeit inane, has a great hold of many people. It's sad and alarming.
