Ashley X Revisited: Fost and Lantos Debate on the Bioethics Channel
This month's issue of The American Journal of Bioethics features a Target Article by Diekema and Fost articulating their defense of the Ashley X procedures. Multiple commentators, including Dr. John Lantos, take issue with their claims, arguing that growth attenuation and the removal of reproductive organs for those with developmental disabilities is simply indefensible.
